Quiet Place to Stay

Written by miaNederland

Since there were no reviews of this place, I decided to add one. It has been a couple of years since we were there, though.

Very clean cabins. The cabin we stayed in was large ... very big kitchen. It was very quiet and peaceful. The resort is spread out, and you don't feel crowded at all. The bathroom was small in our cabin (it probably depends on the cabin), and it didn't have a bathtub ... just a shower. That would have been okay except my daughter was only 3, and the shower was too small for me to get in there with her. (She wasn't too good at washing her own hair). But, we survived, and it really wasn't that big a deal.

When we were there the dock needed work, but pictures show it has been improved since then.

The owners were very nice and helpful ... and I believe they still own the place.

It's a little far from Branson. It's just 13 miles, but it takes forever to drive those miles because it's little, curvy roads. It took us about 25 to 30 minutes to drive the distance.

The trout fishing was great on Lake Taneycomo (we were there in March).

The pool was closed, but it is really big and looked nice.
