Delene

The voice that stole the hearts of Branson, now rests in silence. Delene, known for her beautiful and moving renditions of the songs of Patsy Cline, Karen Carpenter, Anne Murray, Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, and others, has died. After being diagnosed with a brain tumor on March 25th, 2006, Delene lost her battle with cancer on April 4th, 2006. For information on Delene, the Delene Tribute Concert or to donate to the Delene Andre Cancer Fund, please visit her website: http://www.delene.com

Delene had planned to tour most of the year with limited engagements scheduled in Branson at the luxurious CLUB VEGAS showroom of the Lodge of the Ozarks Entertainment Complex.

Delene was a dynamic entertainer as versatile as she was beautiful. She was Loved and will be Missed.

With hilarious Comic, Harley Worthit

Written by Suselit

Delene has a lovely voice and she is backed up by a LIVE BAND. Her song selections were well chosen. Besides singing songs made famous by Patsy Cline and Anne Murray, Delene included some of my personal favorites; Connie Francis, Mamma Cass and Jo Stafford. She sang them beautifully, too.

Delene has a nice stage presence. But she doesn't just remain on stage. She comes down into the audience and makes sure that everyone feels part of the Show.

I have to say that you get your money's worth. The Delene Show ran from 2:30 to 5:00pm.

Harley Worthit is SO Worth It! Harley does the Pre-Show and then he does the comedic breaks during Delene's costume changes. So you will do alot of laughing during this Show, believe me. Harley has the ability to warm up the crowd and get people relaxed and ready for a good time.

If Laughter is the best medicine, then our entire audience received a good dose today. It was almost continual laugh out loud funny stuff for the first 30 minutes of the show. I really enjoyed hearing so many people laugh. It was pretty cool to be a part of that.

During the comedic breaks the audience responded to Harley Worthit's jokes and banter by being funny in kind. So when we left the Show, we no longer felt like strangers...we were a group that had shared humor and enjoyed a very entertaining afternoon together.
